I’m stumped

I’m sick of this truck. It sat a while but ran fine when I started it. a week ago. It kind of half starts or just sputters. It’s got good fuel, new battery and fuel pump is operational.

Haven’t been able to reliably use it since it got cold, been walkijn’…again. I need transportation and I’m probably goin’ to sell it as soon as it’s running. It’s not what I need, I need a reliable pick up or van. It’s a shame about all the money I have in it but I’m ready to write ooff the loss and move on…it’s more or less rust free.

Anyway lookin’ for guidance..”GTP

Have you pressure checked the fuel pump? They can be operational but not supplying enough pressure. If it’s not that, then it has to be in the ignition circuit.

I’d check the glow plugs if it’s hard starting.

maybe double check injection pump timing.

But, hard to say from 300 miles away. Probably already checked all those.
